I think I am ok with uploading photos to sharing sites - as long as I retain some control over their usage/viewing.
Kicking and hollering at every new 'thing'...but what a sense of accomplishment when another one is (so-called) conquered. The mashups may take a little more time....

Alrighty then, photo has been uploaded, tagged, is set for public viewing. I am doing a blog post related to photo. I viewed some fabulous photos from other member collections. I will use Flikr for both personal and professional sharing.

Have successfully added several library related feeds using both Explorer and Google Reader.
WooHoo!

Now if the time can be found to even occasionally read them, all will be well.

Thing 3 - About Blog Search Tools

First, the 'things' theme keeps me in a state of suspended "Seuss-dom"....

Second, I have visited the sites and read about blog searches and searching.

At this point - I am not very inclined toward blogging as the blogger, and not sure about my interest in reading the blogs of others. You may pray for me if so inclined...

btw - I do enjoy reading Neflin's 'Blah blah blah blog'. - Go figure.

I do, however, love rss feeds!

This will test the old saw about old dogs and new tricks. As a library employee, I believe I can do no less than at least attempt to 'keep up'. Aaaarrrggh! The faster the world turns, the behinder I get!
